The city of Orange is well known for the center of its town known as the Plaza. Old Town Orange has become the symbol of the community. Orange is a city located in northern Orange County, California, and is approximately 3 miles north of Santa Ana.
Many of the homes in its Old Town District were built before 1920. These homes, along with its historic Plaza and Circle of Orange have been featured in movies and television shows.
Incorporated on April 6, 1888 , the City of Orange holds much history and old town charm. Orange dates back to 1869, even before it’s incorporation, when Alfred Chapman and Andrew Glassell, accepted 1,385 acres of land from the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana as legal fees.
