Thriftyland 101 thrift store in Anaheim has been all the buzz most recently. It’s a thrift store located here in Orange County that supposedly has tons of Disneyland merchandise, both vintage and new! Disneyland fans have been so excited to check it out…and we are here to tell you what to expect.
Located a few miles north of Disneyland, Thriftyland 101 is a thrift store that is inspired by Disneyland! You will find both new items that seem to be overstock from larger chain stores, and vintage items from the past.
It’s a small little thrift store, but it is packed full of merchandise. You will find anything from clothing, to plushies, to records, movies, toys, jewelry and memorabilia. Not so much furniture, shoes and high ticket items.
We didn’t spend a huge amount of time in Thiftyland 101 digging around, but some of the brands we did see were: Disney, Star Wars, Hello Kitty, Avengers, Marvel, Universal, Simpsons, POP!, Stüssy, Lisa Frank, PEANUTS, LEGO, Dr. Suess, Loony Tunes, Coca-Cola, Kodak, SpongeBob and more.
Shirts, shirts and more shirts. Shirts are the main item that you will find at Thriftyland 101 thrift shop. They have Disney shirts representing all the different Disney theme parks, movies, shows, character and more. Both new, current and vintage t-shirts.
Plus, you will find t-shirts from all the major them parks, such as Universal, Knott’s and some themed from vintage movies.
We did like how most of the t-shirts were organized by color, sizes, brand and type. Most t-shirts and sweatshirts are new with tags.
Plushies are another item that you can find a lot of at this little Disneyland thrift shop. I didn’t recognize all of them, but the is a large variety of Disney movie character plushies in all sorts of sizes.
We would guess that if you have the time to spend digging through all the fun finds at Thriftyland, you will definitely find something special that speaks to you. But if you just quickly walk through, you may be disappointed. It’s not the Disney mecca some are claiming on social media. However…as far as thrift stores go, it’s what you would expect!
We would say its a cross between a true vintage thrift shop and a small Savers or Goodwill…but without furniture.

Be prepared to dig. The store is small and there are a lot of clothing racks that make it seem cramped. I am sure there are some cool finds if you take the time to look. As with any thrift store, different items speak to different people.
If you think everything in the store will be Disney themed, that is not the case. We thought most of the thrift store would be Disney items. Probably only 30% of the items in this thrift shop are Disney. There are a lot of other brands…mostly other theme parks, cartoons and vintage 90’s brands.
The prices are on the higher side for a thrift store. $20 for sweatshirts that aren’t vintage…but more like overstock from current stores.
Pros of Thriftyland: The owners and store team are friendly and nice! Thrifting is fun. A little bit of everything from clothes to plushies and nicknacks.
Cons of Thriftyland: Small and cramped. Smells like cigarette smoke (mostly outside, but in the store too.) Not a ton of Disney items. However, that probably fluctuates.
Should you check it out? If you are curious and in the area, then YES!
Hopefully, the information that we have shared about Thriftyland 101 thrift store in Anaheim is very helpful to you! Hopefully you can make an informed decision on if you would like to visit.
