It’s time to get berry wasted! Knott’s Berry Farm welcomes back its popular springtime food festival, the Boysenberry Festival, March 10-April 16, 2023. Check out this guide covering the food, entertainment, shopping, and fun that awaits you!
Honoring its roots, Knott’s Berry Farm is once again hosting the Boysenberry Festival. A roadside berry stand grew into quite a success, leading the way for the Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant and later the Knott’s Berry Farm theme park. It’s a delicious history!
Boysenberry Festival Food
With a variety of over 75 boysenberry-inspired dishes ranging from savory to sweet, the Boysenberry Festival has something for every palate.

Knott’s Preserved New!
Through music, dance, and a great storyline, you’ll follow the adventure from the ghost town of Calico, to the Boardwalk of the Roaring 20s. It’ll all commemorate the history of Knott’s Berry Farm.
Riverboat Revenge
All aboard for a boysenberry bon voyage at the legendary Bird Cage Theatre with a special presentation of the comedy melodrama, RiverboatRevenge.
Boysenberry Fun & Games
Guests are challenged to try their berry best in Boysenberry Fun and Games, which includes the wildly entertaining Boysenberry Pie Eating Contest.
Old MacDonald’s Barn
Young ones and young at heart are invited to cozy up to the cutest critters on the farm, including horses, sheep, goats and other furry friends at Old MacDonald’s Barn, a tribute to one of the farm’s original attractions.
History of the Boysenberry
Those unfamiliar with the berry that started it all are encouraged to grab a slice of history in the History of the Boysenberry museum in Town Hall.
Tied Up in Knott’s
Inspired by Knott’s history, local artists share their love of the Farm with pieces in various mediums.
